Social Responsibility
Supporting initiatives that make a difference
Sustainability
Our objective is to reduce our impact on the environment by focusing on reducing energy, waste and water consumption. We’ve already achieved improved procedures for recycling and paperless processes and implemented the use of personal drinking bottles to reduce paper & plastics. And, we donate excess technology such as laptops and printers to local schools. We promote a sustainability culture and encourage employees to identify where further improvements can be made.
Additionally, we actively promote the importance of Environmental, Social and Governance ESG frameworks as part of our investment advice proposition.
Solas
We’re delighted to be involved with Solas Business – a development programme that aims to teach children life skills while encouraging creativity and entrepreneurship.
Paired with a local school our volunteers act as mentors to 5th class pupils. Together, we develop a business idea and prepare to present it to ‘The Boardroom’ in a Dragon’s Den style competition. We support our pupils from the classroom, to our final at the Rockwell Office and right through to the community final where they compete against multiple schools.
